|  Questions for Victims of Bike Theft
I saw a bit ago (and can't find the orignal post) someone got thier 1K04 gixxer stolen (owned for 2 weeks), when it was right in front of thier store at or around lunchtime. I wanted to know real bad if he had the forks locked, or if he had a rotor lock on it. If anyone else has had thier bike ganked I would like to know what security measures the bikes were under, time of day, location, and length of time you were away. I am trying to get a feeling for the circumstances in which bikes are grabbed. Let me know of you or your friends experiences and not those passed around as rumors. Also, has anyone had someone cut thier helmet strap to steal it when it is latched to the underseat? thanx |
