Default HELP!!! '04 GSX-R 1000 Alarm

I'm having problems with an alarm I purchased off ebay. It's an aolins alarm and I'm installing it on a 2004 gsxr 1000. Picture of alarm with the instructions at this link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

I have everything hooked up on the alarm except the blue wire for the starter (which hopefully isn't why it's doing what it's doing). With the ignition key in the off position the alarm works fine. It arms, disarms, etc. but when I disarm the alarm and then turn the key to the on position like I was going to start it nothing works like the lights or anything. It's like everything is dead, but when I take the power wire from the alarm system off the battery everything comes back on. I have no freaking clue what is the matter with this thing. All the wires that I've spliced into and cut all perform their normal operation with the alarm hooked up, like the engine cut off and the organge ignition wire 12 V+ If anyone knows what could be the problem or has any ideas please let me know. The alarm works with the ignition switch off, but not when I turn the ignition switch on. Is there some type of theft system built into the bike to make it do this? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
if I left out any info you might need to help let me know and I'll tell you or post a picture... whatever is needed
