Smile I love surprises!

Went to change the air filter on the GSXR today and found that it already had a K&N in there! So I cleaned it and recharged it. I also did a sparkplug change as the old ones while clean burning looked worn down on the electrodes ... and my local "automotive" store had the plugs! Cool; don't have to make the long drive to the bike dealer! I love when things go right! I'm putting together a how-to on the filter and sparkplug change if anyone's interested.

Isn't that in the owner's manual? Congrats on your stroke of luck.

The how-to? Probably, but I thought some detailed color pics and maybe a few tips might be even more helpful.

not bad at all. I'm waiting on tons of parts to arrive, so I don't have to drive to the dealership to pay more for the same stuff.

That happened to me before when i got my bike it looked 100 percent stock and i was told it was so i got my akrapovic pipe and got a bmc filter and didnt install it for a few months cause it was cold out come to find out it already had a bmc race filter in it so i couldnt take it back no receipt so ill prob just try and get half what i paid for it on ebay sometime. Haha so a tip something as easy as a filter if getting a used bike check before you buy.
