| I'm looking for a better windshield for my '03 Bandit 1200S and have been checking out the Zero Gravity models. Specifically the Double Bubble and the Sport Touring Series. Anybody have experience with either of these. I know that there a lot of variables, but I'm hoping to get the bugs to go over my head instead of straight into the face shield. Here in GA the afternoon temps we are getting now of 50 to 60 F are bringing the bugs out already. I'm thinking that when it really warms up, I'll be blind halfway home from work. I bought this bike back in November. Really love it, but would like a little more protection from the windshield if possible by spring.

| How tall are you? I have the Suzuki aftermarket screen which, IIRC, is the same as the ZGDB. It put more noise and buffeting at my helmet line. I'm 5-11. I almost cut it down an inch but I started wearing earplugs more often and it's not an issue. Frankly, since those screens are only as wide as they are, I don't think you gain much. The Bandit's wind protection is decent to begin with, so it's all about where you want the blast to hit. Of course, if you're a shorter person, you may be able to get the wind totally over your head.

| That's kind of what I'm afraid of. I'm 6'1 with a long torso, so I sit high. I've read on another forum that the ST version of the ZG is more dramatic, but comes with a lot of noise. Since ZG has a 10 day trial period, I think I'll try one out and see how it works. Can't hurt, eh? Thanks. |
