Default gsx-r 750 more noise please!

Greetings.

Can anyone help me with this?
bought a new gsx-r 750 k4 last year and are very happy with it, but to be honest it doesnt make as much noise as I wanted or expected, at least since all the press/reviews was praising the sound of the bike so much, its a powerfull sportsbike for crying out loud, its supposed to make a lot of noise!
I put a Nikko carbon exhaust pipe on it when I bought it and the dealer told me that it was like night and day in difference from the original can, then I really wonder what the original exhaust pipe sounds like?. anyway does anybody know if this is a good pipe for this bike or is there something out there that will make more noise? it probably is, its just that I really dont have a clue regarding this so a bit of help would be nice, but if it doesnt make a big difference from the Nikko system then its no point in spending money on it I suppose. I used to drive a ducati supersport so the difference in noise level was kind of disapointing, but other then that no complaints.

If you just want louder you can always go with D&D or Devil. I've had a few friends that had to take theirs off their bikes because the cops knew exactly where they were at when they started their bikes!
Way too loud for me, but hay, to each their own.

Not in the EU! According to EU regulations, a motorcycle may not be modified to be louder than the manufacturer's specifications. My bike has "88 dB(A) at 3400 rpm" stamped on the VIN plate. And, any third-party exhaust MUST have a EC number stamped or engraved on it. If you are caught using a racing can (or a can with the db-killer removed) on public streets, your bike can be pulled out of service immediately (at least in Germany or Switzerland).

Norway is not an EU member state. He would have to comply with Norway's and his local municipality's ordinances and perhaps take EU laws into consideration if he decides to ride in one of it's member countries (Sweden being one of them).

I know, Switzerland is also not in the EU, but many of the Swiss laws simply say "See EU regulation x-y-z". Most motorcycle regulations in Switzerland refer directly to 97-24-EG, the EU regulations. I would assume that Norway is the same...

It wouldn't surprise me if Norway's laws and EU's regulations were similar as there are numerous commerce, travel, and other cross-border interaction.

You know..D&D's are so loud I hate riding next to the guys that have those..Now a Hindle or Yoshi pipe (which I have) I like the best. My humble opinion.

I'm witcha on this one, Jammer ! I can take a few miles of riding staggered in the formation behind my buddies w/the loud pipes but the first chance I get I change my position. Must admit though that they sound good either coming or going...but riding directly with 'em is a headache.
