Hello all,

Just thought I would come in and introduce myself since I just attained my class M liscence by completing the MSF course. I also bought a 95 Katana 600 with 10,300 miles on it.

Quick question - the bike I bought should be a great first bike, it was relatively cheap ($3k), runs real well, and I got it from a respected dealer in the area so it come with a warranty. But, it has purple rims and decals! I am not interested in looking like the coolest guy on the streets, but I am interested in getting the decals off and maybe even spray painting the rims. Any one tried this before? Any suggestions? I was just going to use some water and a heat gun to get the decals off, and then buff the glue off with some car wax (which i heard works well).

Thanks
