Default VX800 forks

Does anyone have any info on the front forks of the VX800 (90-93) I'm trying to find out if any other models forks will work on this bike. My son found a fire hydrant with mine and I hate to part the bike out as its only got 2300 orig miles on it.

What all is damaged? If it is just the tubes, you can get replacements from Forking by Frank.
