| Installed these today. I must say though, for such a reputable company there were no instructions included. It was pretty straight forward, but I found that the OEM inner mounting plate had to be modified ... instructions might lessen the confusion for the DIY'ers. OEM ![]() Hotbodies

| Uggh. I shudder to think how flush mount signals reduce your visibility. No thanks.

| It isn't about brightness. If another vehicle is a few degees off center, they can't see your signal.

| From what I can tell about the cagers around here you could have a sportlights mounted all around your bike and these idiots would still pull out in front of me, cut me off, and pull into my lane on a daily basis. It's getting really old.

| Sometimes I think why bother with turn signals anyway. Most people are too busy on the phone, playing with the radio, etc to even notice you. Half the time they don't seem to even see the ambulance with the flashing lights coming up behind them. Scott, I like the look of those new lights. Way to go. |

| I agree with a bunch of the above post. I've used Gregs Flushmounts for about a year now and cagers still react the same as when I had stock.... they just don't notice. I alway use my blinkers and I always assume that no one sees them.

| In the day time I always give brief points with my hand which way I'm turning. People in traffic don't see motorcycle blinkers in the daylight as well as night, so in heavy-moderate traffic I always point (and especially when riding in groups; even the other bikes miss blinkers too).

| I tend to lean towards the safety factor as well. Night group riding comes to mind. I just feel a bit safer w/the stock blinkers. Just want riders...especially cagers to know when me & Q-Rokit are about to stop or change lanes. But flush mount is definitely a cooler look! In your pic, I like the clear extended lens.

| I would probably have kept the stockers if the rears weren't modified. It just looked funny to me; sort of unbalanced. But, I also have come to the same conclusion as some of you (Rowdy, Gixxer-Mike, etc.) that during the day they are rather un-noticed by others. Steve (sundude) and I observed them on our Sunday ride and I must say that I'm not really happy regarding the visibility ... sure, they LOOK good, but they definitely do not ILLUMINATE good due to the angle. When I installed them, I tested in my garage where it is quite shaded and was pleased at first. However, I'm going to keep them just because of the looks, however I am pursuing custom fitment of the newer 2005 GSX-R1000 series blinker/mirror combo ... those look really good to me.

| If you're the type to really watch traffic and scan everyone's eyes, you'll impose minimal risk. If you're a daydreamer and rely on others seeing you... look out.

| The stock blinkers on these gsxr's are ugly. Nice choice and your bike looks great.

| Yeah, got some lockhart's on my Tiller. I really like how the flush mounts look, and it's like some of you guys have already said cagers are going to still run you over no matter what you got on your bike!

| The thing I wonder about is litigation. Can you be held more responsible in the event of an accident. You are changing out safety equipment.
