Default Received my Bohns

Received my Bohn Cool Air Pants today. These are really "cool"! They fit under regular jeans or any other loose fit pants and are barely detectable. I'll have a better report tomorrow when I ride with them.

That looks like a great option. I wonder why I haven't heard of them before.

I don't know how long they've been around, but I do know some pro's use Bohn's and they do advertise in the cycle rags. I liked the idea of the Draggin Jeans since I live in denim. This however I thought was a better idea for me since it permits wearing any type of pants whilest retaining a functional safety device. They are also very comfortable since the material is similar to that of ... ahem ... pantyhose, yet more durable! Hey, don't laugh ... criminals wear those on their head!

^^^ Welcome to Comedy Central ... anyway, I rode on and off about 30 miles this morning wearing the Bohns; no complaints! They truly fit like they aren't there. I wore my Levi's Carpenter Straights Loose Fit jeans. The mesh helps to keep you cool and thus minimize any additional sweating. Mind you, the weather was about 70 degrees and low humidity. For the casual street sport bike rider I recommend them. Bohn's also sells a version that is non-mesh; more like neoprene, for those concerned about cold temperatures.

$159. I imagine you could wear them all day, but why? I just change when I get to work ... what's a little hassle in lieu of safety, right?

Do they make a bra & thong set? I have more up front to protect than you guys... As for the thong, well, a girl can't wear a bra without the matching thong...

Yeah... I saw it coming... Maybe I will post a pic of myself, so at least you guys will know who you're talking to...

Normally, I don't post pics because I've had a few folks steal my pics from my site and do all sorts of wierd things to them... I've even seen myself naked on a couple of sites... My face on another body of course, I would never take a naked pic of myself...

It's a shame that a beautiful woman such as yourself has to endure the slime of the world. But in any event, go to http://www.bohnarmor.com and check it out. I'm sure they have stuff for ladies as I've seen it. As for wearing the stuff all day, I see that you could, but it would seem awkward in an office environment (for those individuals). I get to wear gear at work anyway . Maybe for a casual weekend ride and retreat I can see it.

Looks good, but doesn't look like road rash would be stopped much. I guess when you land it's more likely to hit those spots the armor covers so it should be ok. Prolly still going to end up getting a pair of draggin jeans though just in case...but then again I'm a paranoid person heh heh. I wear an agv sport pant over my dockers/slacks to work now, but draggin jeans and the chinos the aussie counterpart has seems to be the ticket.

Interesting idea, I've seen the "rib protectors" and such in the mags, but not the full body rigs.

Nice pic Toni.
