Default Changed out a few things ...

Not really big stuff here, but I replaced the Puig windscreen today with a new Zero Gravity double-bubble. As you can see from the pics below, the Puig had turned "purple" like bad tint ... ugly . Also, some notable differences are that the ZG is about 1" longer at the top, a wider radius from behind and has a bit more aggressive cut for wind-slicing. Overall, I noticed a difference in turbulance at highway speed when tucked. Thumbs up on this trade-up!

I also swapped out the ugly Progrip clear tank protector ... had bubbles underneath and I didn't like the way it came up over the two-tone paint. In place, I put the Suzuki carbon fiber. Nice!

And not to be outdone by my buddy Steve (sundude), I purchased a Joe Rocket Manta tank bag. Super nice and definitely more at home on the sport-bike!

Dude, that thing's insane! When we first got that for my son, I couldn't catch up to him even running when it was in high gear! ... it's for sale!

Also changed the gas cap this morning from the Progrip to Suzuki's ... notice the "For Suzuki" imprint on the Progrip version ... tacky ... don't know why they did that. Look at the difference in carbon too! Now everything matches from the triple-tree to the tank.

Progrip

Suzuki

Everything

I would seriously heed Zuki Dude's words of warning. Our cruiser brothers have yet to recover from ZD's tornadic presence.

BTW, killer mods man! Reminder to self: Ensure EZridr1 does not let his brother read Zuki Dude's posts.

Oh c'mon guys, what else could I possibly do to this bike? ... Note to self: how to modify frame for the 1000cc engine?

I have the ProGrip clear tank pad on my SV. It looks okay. On yours, with the 2tone paint, it was a tad weird.
