Default Need Help Putting some new lights on my Gixxer 05

My brother bought me some low profile turn signals for the front of my bike. I went to try and install them on my 05 Gixxer 750 and i was having trouble getting the front fender off of the bike to install them. the bolts that hold the rear view mirrors wouldn't un-tighten. I wouldn't think the bolts would already be seized since the bike is brand new.

I am not sure if there are any tricks to getting these bolts out, but if there is i would appreciate it if you could help.

Thanks

They no doubt have thread lock compound on them. Use the correct tool and crank away.

You might want to insert the wrench very carefully and give it a quick jerk, as opposed to a steady pressure. Maybe some type of penetrating fluid.

Use an extension (pipe, adjustable wrench, whatever), but make darn sure you have the allen all the way in and in line with the bolt. Don't let it get cockeyed. It'll pop.

Default frozen bolt

i had no problem getting mine off. i am sure they have loc-tite on them like many bolts on your bike. just insert the correct hex key and turn CCW. it will come off. you'll have to insert the short end and pull on the long end if the tool is L- shaped.

The bolts were tight on mine too. Don't be afraid, crank away but again make DAMN sure the allen is all the way in, otherwise they'll never come off if you know what i mean.
