Default My new bike ...

I've grown acustomed to hanging around in the M50 forum here for a while. But my heart lead me back to the sport-bike world. I thought you'd all like to see the new baby. It's already got goodies on it like a Yoshi slip-on, raised windscreen, carbon fiber hugger and accents, and eliminated tail (makes the wife happy)! Now, let's see how many of you can guess the year and model !

Okay, yes it's a GSX-R ... I know the big ole' stickers give it away . It's a 600 and yes it's a 2002. However, did anyone notice that the front forks, rear swing arm and brakes are all from the 1000?? Nice upgrades eh? Anyway, it's a custom yet mild paint job and I'm really diggin' it. I "might" have the rims powdercoated in yellow to match the accents. Don't get carried away ... it's only a thought!

Nice bike dude. Does the 1000 front end simply bolt onto the 600? Is the paint job Jet black? Looks hot!

I really don't know about the direct bolt-on, but it does look like it. Yes, the paint is jet black with a metallic almost titanium two-tone. Thanks!
