Default Riding Gear

Just curious as to what most of you ride with who ride sport-bikes. I'm only curious becuase since the weather has warmed up, everyone with bikes in East Lansing has started riding. I've seen people with jackets, gloves, boots, and a helmet, and i saw some knuckle-head on my way back from class today wearing only a helmet with a tank-top, shorts and tennis shoes. I wasn't planning on buying boots (at least not at first), but after reading some tales of laces getting caught in pegs i'm begining to think it would be a good idea. Just curious as to what you wear.

I ALWAYS wear at least my helmet, one piece leathers, boots and gloves.
Had a fall at slow speed and without the protection I know I would have took the skin off arm right down to the bone because I took the leather off right down to the armour!

Not worth the risk,I like my health.

If it's warm out, I wear my new mesh jacket, mesh overpants, Alpinestar gloves, and my boots. If it's cold out, I wear my regular textile jacket, put on jeans under the mesh pants and wear my warmer riding gloves. Oh yeah, I always wear my helmet. BTW, the mesh jacket was on closeout at newenough.com for like $69.00.

I also wear 2 piece leathers, gloves, boots and a helmet, having said that it's rarely warm enough in england for the T-shirt and shorts and trainers scenario.

Helmet, gloves, boots, mesh or textile jacket and jeans.

I took a slide when I was young in helmet, shorts and t-shirt, and it was quite unpleasant for a few weeks. Won't happen again.

Helmet, gloves, and leather jacket. It gets kinda hot sometimes with the leather on but I feel like the protection of it compared to my textile jacket is worth it.

If anyone doubts the usefullness of wearing good gear see the post I put up with the same name and "Graphic Picture Warning". Buy the best you can afford, and wear it!
