Default New Contender (ZX-10)

I test rode a ZX-10 a week ago and I have to say the GSX-R 1000 has held the KONIG(KING) position for quite some time but the KAW-10 is a serious contender.

Now all of you know my position which is SUZUKI till I die. But it gives Suzuki a reason to get back on the money with new designs. I was amazed at how easy it was the flip the ZX-10 back and forth on the twisties. You can feel that low center of gravity. The bike just feels like a 600 (I guess Kaws will no longer be associated with Cows). The power to weight is obvious when launching or coming out of a turn. Bike stands up easily in 4th (same with gsxr). Even as bias as I am I was no doubt impressed. I am used to being stretched out on the gsxr but felt closer to the bars on the kaw. The orange on black was a nice change also.

We all know the ZX-12 was a straight away bike and if modded by suspension and steering means with some weight shaven was a decent racer. But this ZX-10 has learned from the Guru's of Suzuki how to produce an all around beast.

But dont waste your money because we all know the next generation of GSX-R 1000s is right around the corner and can bet that it will smoke the competition.
