   |  Alright, Suzuki or Kawasaki?
Ok... I realize that this is a Suzuki Forum... but i would like some input... Here in my area, there is one bike store with some great prices compared to the competition. So that's where I'm shopping. I'm looking for a good affordable dualsport bike. They have the Suzuki DR650SE for $3,999 and they have the Kawasaki KLR250 for $3,999. I realize that the Suzuki has the bigger engine, and looks better, but they keep steering me towards the Kawasaki. They're tellin me that it would be a better beginner bike, because of the lower power, and the high, reliable technology. However, i want something that i can grow into, and won't be bored with after a year or two. (trying to avoid trading in soon). What does everybody here think i should get... I appreciate the help (extra info... first bike, never ridden before, have no REAL brand preference as of yet) |
