Hej! Just got an 07 Roadliner S after looking at one for over a year. Beside the 40 Mile ride home from the dealer on Sunday, I haven't had a chance to put on any miles, and with rain in the immediate forecast, it does not look like I'll be able to remedy that for a few days. I've been riding a Honda 07 VTX1300R; the Roadliner handles more like a sportbike than a cruiser, like the Honda. I'm planning on the Memphis Fats 21" and Cobra Fatty Highway bars as the first additions. Any comments, or installations suggestions/caveats would be appreciated. I'd also like to add the passing lamps; any aftermarket stuff available, or just OEM? I hear they are a PitA to install. And Bags! Yamaha wants too much for their bags! I was thinking Tsukayu Leather Covered strong Bags (www.tsukayu.com) with the EzeBracket; I have the them on the VTX and really like them. I'd like to use the OEM Saddlebag Trim Rails, but worry that they won't work with the Tsukayu bags, which seem to be bigger... ...any one in a similar boat? Looking forward to hanging out here! Any Riders in the Lakewood / Long Beach, CA Area? Hej Da! Richard |
