Default Crush Gaskets

hey guys I called my local bike shop and asked about the crush gaskets and told them what I was doing (adding new pipes), and I told them I do not know how many I need or where they go. They told me I need 3. My question is where do they go? I know where 2 should go, where the hell does the third one go?

I would say If you are Installing after market pipes you need two. I love parts counter guys that know what they are talking about.

If you look it looks like the front#15 and rear#12 may be differnt part numbers. I would say one of each.

The stock exhaust on the rear jug has a header portion that comes out and mates with the front jug eeghaust portion. That is why there will be a single one upfront and two for the rear portion since its effectivly split in two.

Heres a good link to the picture of the exhaust and these guys will give you the best price on anything you need.

If you are going with aftermarket exhaust it should come with them, any case though you may need 3. Not sure where the after market hooks up to the heads at.
