OK, so I picked her up yesterday and rode her for over 150 miles. She was tight and moody at first, but opened up the faster we went. She corners on a dime and growls when she wants more. I am in love!!! Picked up my 2006 Stratoliner Midnight yesterday. LOOOOOONG story on getting this bike, but it was a hold-over and the price could not be passed up...after five different dealers with five different sales tactics and several lies, along with one dealer that kept me and a friend in the shop for over 6 hours as they "discussed" the deal and then the owner insulted my friend (because she was a woman), I finally found the bike. I was looking for a Midnight Roadliner....had done everything but put my signature on the line before that dealer hauled off and insulted my friend. Then ran a search and found the 2006 Strat Midnight for $6K below MSRP. It was a long and trying road, but I made it, she is in the garage and I could not be happier!!! Which brings me here....Hello all... |
