Cool Not right

Well. If I ride between 45 - 70 and pass cars when I feel like it I get high 30's on the mileage.
Do you have a big air kit ?

Then you don't need a Power Commander !

If you're commander has buttons, L M H, then you can change settings on the commander.
If it doesn't then you need a laptop to do it.

Power Commander Downloads and Products Purchases

I don't see a map for your "shorts" but you could start with :
Cobra Speedster Longs , Stock or aftermarket air filter

Question Oh!

You didn't say if it has buttons.
You are running too rich somewhere in the rev range.
You NEED a laptop.
As long as you DON'T have big air you can remove the power commander and let the stock ECU run the bike.
Your mileage SHOULD increase.

It does have buttons. I'd like to leave it on the bike. I do plan on getting the big air kit.

Then you'll have to see what map is on it now and you will have to modify that map OR load a new one.
You may find someone over here http://forums.delphiforums.com/starroadliner that can help you.
