Default Repairing paint chips, how to?

I got my first paint chip recently. It's very small though, about 1 mm in diameter.

As winter (and salt on the streets) is coming, I would like to hear your ideas on repairing paint chips. It doesn't have to be visually perfect, because I bought the bike to ride it, not for show. But I think some thouch ups are in order as the paint is completely chipped and you can see the metal beneath.

Pick up a match from your local auto parts store. Duplicolor should offer one. Dab it, keeping it as small as you can.

If you don't want to bother with paint, just wax it.

Default Repairing paint chips

If you go on line to Color Rite, they have the OEM colors for our bikes. They have different methods of applying also. I think they actually have a pen type applicator. Good Luck.

Pen applicator on one end, brush at the other.

Can be had at any auto parts store. Unless your color is...uhm...well not black and you may need something dealer matched, you should be able to find an assortment suited for a rainbow parade...

I'm sure you have these in your area also but here you can get all the OEM colors from all makes (at least all Japanese and Ducs. Not HD though). There's a catalog and you can look up based on make, year, model and get the right color.

Do you have all these colors in the pen applicator types also? They're really handy for small chips and scratches.
