Roadliner No Yamaha didn't make something to keep roads clean, it's a Motorcycle.

Default Cleaning rubber marks from the exhaust
Since the bike is rather wide, and the exhaust gets very hot, I sometimes scrape the sole of shoe/boot on the (hot) exhaust when backing up. This leaves a nasty black mark on the exhaust. Up to now I have 3 or 4

I tried everything to get it off short of scraping it. Alcohol, medical petroleum... Nothing worked.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to get rid of these marks. I can send a picture if necessary.
