Roadliner No Yamaha didn't make something to keep roads clean, it's a Motorcycle.

Default Right front wheel bearing failure at 170 miles.. :-(

Hi there -

Was out taking a spin on my new Roadliner this past weekend... At 170 miles and at 60mph, I started feeling a strange vibration starting in the floorboard. After about 30 seconds of this, it started working its way up through the handle bars... I was on a wide open road and gently rolled off the throttle (didn't touch ANYTHING, that's the way I was taught)... At 30 mph, the front wheel started 'walking' quite a bit... After getting it stopped, I grabbed the front brake lever to get off (out of habit) and the lever went all the way to the handlebar...

Had it towed to the dealership ($140 worth) and ended up confirming my suspicions that it was a front wheel bearing..

Counting my blessings that I had an open road and was able to get it stopped.....

Any trends or anything on this one that you all know about?

Have it back on the road now and it is taking a little bit to get the trust back in it...

Thanks!
