Default Roadstar/Roadliner

I have a 05 Roadstar and thinking of selling/trading for a Roadliner/Stratoliner and would like to hear from some of you guys that own them and ride them. What do you think of them? I have 2 bikes that I am looking at and undecided.

Thanks for the reply Big Al, nice to hear from a local. How do you like your roadliner? How long have you had it now? What are the pros and cons of the bike?

I like the bike just fine,

Just did 150 miles on it this am before the rain set in.

Lot's of power, I've only had it for a couple of months and have put 2000 miles on it. Sometimes I wonder where the new noises are coming from but havn't had any mechanical problems yet. I filled up before this am's ride and again after topping of with 3.1 gallons of fuel.

My wife and i ride two up most of the time and we are both BIG people. The Roadliner seems to handle the weight well.

Welcome to the forum. Drop me some info about your favorite rides in the area.

Al

All of you Yamaha owners may be interested in looking here; https://www.startouring.org/about.aspx
Even tho I ride a Suzuki I got acquainted with and eventually joined the group. It was originally formed for Yamaha riders but it welcomes anyone who enjoys riding. It is international in scope, chapters all over the place. Tons of members there who know the bikes inside and out, whether for mods, service or problems. Enjoy .

It certainly looks like fun to join the group .... sad, it's a bit too far to join thou, as Listing of International Chapters shows none in Japan.
