Cruiser motorcycle track time slips wanted... - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

...well, even if you don't show the actual time slips, I'd appreciate it if you'd show me the information on them about your run.

I have only been to a track once and, unfortunately, all that is locally available is an 1/8 mile track here in Huntsville, AL area. I was there last week, on 08/03/2006.

For those that want to belittle me: "shouldn't race a cruiser", "who cares how fast it is", etc., I'd rather you just hold your tongue. There are those with this information that enjoy it and wouldn't mind sharing the information. Those are the folks I am asking.

For those that haven't been and are interested, I'd recommend it. I had a blast and made 7 trips down the track. I'm hoping my attachments are viewable, if not, I will edit the post after I put them up on photobucket or somewhere else.

About me & my bike: I'm new to racing, but not new to riding. I've been riding since I was 10...although I did have a "dry spell" w/o a bike for about 10 years, so I guess I've been riding for a total of about 14 years (24 with the dry spell). I got tired of having a bike that looked like everybody else's bike, so bought a custonm tank (6 gallon vs. the 3.2 gallon stock) and had a few wolves airbrushed on it as well as had it painted to match my stock paint scheme.

I've put drag bars on, but have no other 'performance' mods done. In fact, with the saddlebags and windshield, I imagine I'm slowing myself down. I had the saddlebags on in the track time slips I'm posting except for the last two runs. You can definitely tell my inexperience...as they didn't make much difference.

Anyways, if you got some numbers, I'd appreciate seeing them. Btw, I don't care what cruiser you post, as that's what I'm interested in seeing. I'd love to see where I stack up against other cruisers. I know the crotch rockets can slaughter my times.
