I'm thinking this won't be the best thing to be doing while crusing at about 45mph on city streets. I hope some of you rail against people using these while on bike just like you do for those that don't wear gear or lids. BTW cell phones are rapidly becoming the number one cause of traffic accidents.

I have no intention of letting anyone interrupt my rides. Checking for messages at stops will do just fine, thanks.

Distracted cagers are bad enough, we do not have to join them.

Say it isn't so! Ugh. Who would be stupid enough to use this technology?

I won't. I like the peace & well not quiet, more like gentle rumble of the engine

Screw bluetooth headsets ( I always thought the name blue tooth was dumb anyway)

Anyone see the Mythbusters episode where they showed how driving while on the cell phone is as bad as or worse than driving under the influence of achohol at just under the legal limit of .08 BAV

Just what we need, some kid doing 90 on one wheel while talking on the telly.
Not that it doesn't happen now, but hey, let's make it easier.

i'm not a very good multitasker when one task involves talking on a phone...don't think this would be a good idea for most people out there.

I just don't get it nor do I get those I see at the gym wearing and talking on their cell phones?? When I ride or work out that's MY time and I don't want to have to let others infringe apon it. I mean for an hour or a few it's really okay to out of touch of everyone and get back to them when your done. Maybe It's cause I'm not a cell phone whore but really some times you should take some time for yourself. And I think checking messages while on a gas stop really should be enough.

I don't know... but unlike cages, you cannot simply yell at your fellow riders to convey your message. Even talking to your passenger (something easily done in a cage) is not possible without chatter box. Bluetooth technology just opens possibilities for better chatterboxes. Now, that's what I will be waiting for.

No, you see...that would give you time to actually THINK. Most people nowadays tend to avoid that particular activity like the plague.

Bluetooth technology has its benefits ... sometimes I listen to MP3s while riding, and I would prefer to have the speakers integrated into the helmet and no wires. I could then listen to MP3s and get instructions from my navigation computer, without anything pressing against my ears.

My mobile phone is two years old, and doesn't support BlueTooth ... and I haven't missed it. I don't want to talk to anyone while riding, but I do like to listen to Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Neil Young and Jethro Tull while enjoying the European countryside.

At first I thought it was another intercom system. I'd love to see affordable wireless inter-bike communications.

And do not forget that systems like Chatterbox have connectors for cell phone and MP3 players... So this is certainly not new.

It is illegal in Pennsylvania to pipe music onto your helmet, Chatterbox etc. are ok though. I'm not sure about other states, but I would think it is important to hear your surroundings...like a cage's horn.

You do know that plenty of people are stupid enough - it's just depressing to think about it. No phones on my bikes.

Maybe it's just because i'm a novice in riding bikes... but taking your eyes off the road might be a real problem. I vote for electronic means of communication.

Me too...and it's a lot smaller than the chatterbox system...that's what I thought it was at first. I'd only want to use something like that for rider-to-rider communication, but I'm not about to sit on an open phone call for hours while on a ride!
