|  Passed the skills test!
Hey all, just figured id update my licensing so far~ After about 1500km on my L i finally took my skills test at 9am yesterday~ Didnt even get to finish when he passed me. . . I definately over practiced! (well i guess its never wasted  )I was doing figure 8's with the bars locked and doing the slalom with cones spaced the length of my tires? was a little tricky at first but i eventually got it. When i saw what i had to do at the driving center it was a total relief! I mastered the slow ride to just barely rolling which the instructor liked  So without anyone helping me and technically not being allowed to ride by myself (and getting caught only once  ($300)) i no longer have to worry bout the police! And can continue perfectin my corners!Practicing in the parking lot was a definate help! Its alot harder than most people think to ride very slow and perform manuevers. its alot easier to do them at speed! Now i have to get some leathers and start getting off my bike a little on corners as ive started scraping my toes and the sides of my shoes railing the corners!  Be sure to get some piks posted soon~ Chase P.S. what do they teach in the advanced MSF? Im thinking of taking some track courses? |
