First 300 mile ride - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Well, had to make the trip to southern Arkansas to visit relatives. Trailered the C50T up from Tampa, FL. Had to bring the dog and with no side-car...well you understand right?

, anyway I had cruised around in the country for a couple of days for 1-2 hour trips until the wife was able to fly in and meet me. Well she brought her sister, neice and all (4 kids - nieces and other relatives kids)...Hmm, I need an excuse to bug out!!!

Well found out the neices hubby has a Honda Sabre (1200 i think) so I called him up and ask if he wanted to ride. yea! I came from El Dorado and he from Little Rock, we really did not have a plan but we met in Fordyce roamed down to Camden, up hwy 7 (nice scenic, little twisties), to Arkadephia, then wandered farther into the country. Finally ended at Prescott where he headed back to Little Rock on US 30 (red line on map) and I headed back to El Dorado. Total mileage 297.8, total time 9 hours w/ 1 hour for lunch, the longest trip I've been on. My butt is still sore!!!

Note the image. El Dorado is not listed on the map but it is in the lower right corner where the cirle near the Hwy 82 label is.

PS

After running out of juice for the iPod in about 2.5 hours, today I wired in an adapter to keep the tunes flowing!

Why put off until tomorrow what you can get someone else to do for you today.
