Default Fender scratch.

Recently I took my C50 into the dealer for the 800 mile check and service.
I got it back with a 2" scratch on the rear of the front fender. I spotted it about 2 days after I picked the bike up from the dealer. I called the dealer and said that while it probably happened there, I didn't want to make a "thing" out of it and did he have some touch up paint. He said that they no longer carry touch up paint and I had to call "Color Rite East." They're an oem paint seller and want about $25-30.00 for a touch up pen or 1 oz. of paint plus clear coat. Of course that includes s & h.
That's rediculous. Who ever heard of a dealer not carrying touch up paint? We have to assume that at least some of the bikes get nicked during assembly. I purposely purchased my bike from a local dealer because of the convenience of service. Well, that's a joke. Are all Suzuki retailers so customer unfriendly? I love my bike but will think twice about another Suzuki if that's the way the company treats their customers.

Last year when I was trying to sell or trade my gixxer for a cruiser, I called a couple dealerships to see if they'd be interested and without a second thought, they both said, "Nope, I'm not interested in trading." I thought to myself, what kind of dealer would turn down potential profit? There's only been one Suzuki dealership that I really liked and made me feel at home and that one was in Biloxi, MS.

Here in town, the Honda shop (AL's Honda) seems to be the only place that understands that we WORK for our money and don't want to be treated like it (and we) grows on trees.

Hmm . . . aren't they making 600RRs in all-black now?

Yeah, I'm not so crazy about the squirrelly service I've gotten at the sdealer thus far either...what a relief, I'm not alone.
