Angry GSX600F - Top speed

I have just bought a 1998 gsx600f - it seems pretty slow both acceleration and top speed compared with my old GPZ500S. It won't go over 95mph flat out. The bike used to be restricted to 33bhp but the garage assured me the restrictor kit was removed. Does anyone know what top speed i should expect. It's acceleration over 80mph is almost non-existent. I am pretty disappointed with this bike.
thanks,

The GSF600S has about the same quickness and a little less top speed as the GSX600F. The GSF600S is good for about 125 mph top speed and around a 12.50 to 13 second quarter mile E.T.

Unless you're headed to the track, I'd say it's fast enough!

If your talking a GSX600F , it will most definately do over 95. I can tell u from experience personally by riding one, riding w/ one, and being w/ other kat riders who have this exact bike. Pre 98 or 98 + you can easily squeeze 130 w/ NO problem.

Speed limit in the US is usually 70-75 on the highway. So, looks like you are just fine.

Thing is, you have a real GOLDEN opportunity staring you in the face right now. I'll bet you have absolutely no idea what it is either.

I'll guess: A restricted bike that won't get you killed while you learn to carve corners?
