It's about 35 degrees and we're having sleet just north of Dallas. And Atlanta had an ice storm a few days ago.

Since Christmas, we've had a few sunny days in the 70's. But those days are not very common.

You can still ride in rain! We got 3+feet of f***** snow. I wish I were down there, you know it'll stop soon and you'll get some riding in. We're expecting more snow this weekend, WTF

We don't start to warm up until the first week in March.

My daughter's soccer team plays from Feb-April. It's too cold in February for kids to play soccer! Why can't they play March-May???

Oh wait... I have something to add. I now work at Sycuan CASINO with the injuns. Part of my commute to work is a decent set of twisties and stuff. I GET TO RIDE TWISTIES JUST TO GET TO WORK 3 days a week. Yay for me and my new job.

Oh and if I feel like leaving early enough, I can follow about 15 miles of twisies or so and take a longer rout to work instead of the superslabs. Am I cool or what? Oh yea and today, yesterday, tomarrow and the forseeable future is sunny here.

Phil the Groundhog saw his shadow this morning, so he's predicting 6 more weeks of wither weather ... damn rodent ...

As far as I can remember, yes, getting to work on a bike is better than in the cage ... but it's been soooo long...

Yeah I heard that on the news last week!! 36" of the white stuff. I grew up in Ipswich Ma and still can remember the blizzard of 78 with it's 2'-3' snow fall on top of what was already on the ground and wind blown snow drifts 10'-15' high, cars stoped on the mass pike and rt 128. I swear that shut the state down for nearly a week as we dug out.

But now I'm in Florida and yesterday it was in the 70s and partly sunny. It's good to be in Florida.

I grew up in Connecticut. I was in high school during the "Blizzard of '78". The entire state was shut down for three days. Nothing was open. I've never seen anything like it. We had plenty of food. It was fun.

i was actually in NYC at the time...was only 6 though. i was thinking it was 79...maybe it was 79 in NYC?? anyway....the snow was taller than me and i could lean into the wind about 45 degrees and not fall over.

moved to FL in Jan of 80.
