Default Who's still ridin?

So who is riding?
End of January and by 10 this morning I had all the vents open on my leathers! Must be in the mid 80's outside. I love winter days like this! I did about 380 miles of twisties so far today. Then stopped by the house for a minute. It's only 3:00! Hmm I'm outta here! I can get a couple hundred more miles before this day is over. Sweet! Then there is tomorrow too!

I actually got to ride for about an hour around noon today. Would have still been out there still, but the ol' lady's been ridin' my a$$ about taking the Christmas tree down for a couple of weeks now...

Well its 14 degrees here in DC, and even if it were 70, I have no bike to ride thanks to an idiot in a cage. I guess if its going to be nasty outside, I might as well not have a bike. If I had one, I'd be going crazy right about now...well more so than I already am from not having a bike.

Twelve hours and 800km's was my little ride for my days off last week, but it's a bit different than what you guys are dealing with since it was around 40 degrees CELCIUS and about 90% humidity heading up the coast from Sydney. Kinda makes you sweat in your leathers a bit, though. And the sun really cooks you.
I've only ever seen snow twice, must be a %%%%% to try and ride in.

Got a short trip in yesterday but that's been it. Missed an opportunity the other day to ride back and forth to work. *sigh*
Can't wait for the warm weather.

No lie; about 16 inches of snow here with a blizzard warning.

Damn I'm tired! I rode both yesterday and today! Awesome weather, but deadly road conditions from the storms we had. Dunlop 208's are really bad on dirt covered twisties, especially the corners! Not so good on wet runoff in the corners either. Lots of slippin and slidin this weekend. I think being on High Alert for road hazards was harder and more tiring than the miles I actually rode.

The Rock Store was packed with bikes as well as both sides of the road for a 1/3 of a mile! Must have been 500 bikes! My stinking digital camera froze up again today! About 800 miles this weekend and hardly any pictures!

Some pics to follow!

true...i heard that parking lot feels like 110 on a hot summer day...especially since you have to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt.

but i would have preferred this cold front wait one more day...saturday was beautiful. oh well, its over. i got my card to go down and hand to the DMV and get my lic. closed today, will be doing it tomorrow i think
