No but cold weather makes me cold

Hahah, you're pretty new on the SV so it's probably "arm pump." It will go away after a few months or less of the new riding position. My throttle palm used to KILL when I started on the GSXR.

I have a good fairing. My fingers get cold, though, so I warm them on the engine at stoplights.

The sore throttle hand thing is just from being new to riding. Get in the habit of switching pressure between your inner two fingers, then the outer two. It helps me a lot when touring.

loosen your grip and tighten your legs. Squeezing your knees to the tank helps take the weight off of your wrists and putting it back on your body.

Like Jaydog & Rowdy said, It's probably from being new to riding. Gotta build up those hand & finger muscle. Also loosen up the grip a bit.

When I first started riding, I had the same problem with hand cramps on longer rides. I would just try to hold the grip firmly with just a few of my finger then rotate to the ones that were now relaxed. Then whe I started learning stoppies I had......nevermind.

My bike is winterized, so I don't have that problem right now. The wait for spring is killing me though.
