What a New Years Day - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Its January 1st in the nations capitol. Yesterday we had a record 55 degree day (unheard of in December) and I rode until I couldnt anymore. Then I had to work a ceremony this morning at the Commandant of the Marine Corps' house, and come to find out that its now 68 degrees outside. I am only waiting on my riding partner and as soon as he arrives we will be out riding the rest of our New Years away.

Just got back from 4 hours of 70+ degree riding!!!

Wow that's impressively warm for Jan 1 considering that huge Canananadian cold front that frooze the eastern seaboard 2 weeks ago. Down hear it could be in the 80s by weeks end!!!! Who says you can't ride year round!!!!

Riding in january is awesome... mid-50/60s this week here. After the rain goes away and cleans the roads off I'll be in GREAT shape.

Hopefully I'll be riding some tomorrow. Gotta setup my suspension for my weight tomorrow.

right now the best i can do is stair at my bike in the garage and make revving noises....
... so what.. i bored one night k.
