Sequoia National Forest (CA) Announces Route Inventory Review Maps Available on Web Site

Forest Service officials are asking the public to review and comment on whether all roads and trails open to wheeled vehicle use are shown on their inventory maps. These maps are specific to four areas of the national forest: the Piute Mountains, Lake Isabella area, Greenhorn Mountains, and Breckenridge Mountain.

Comment Period Open for Proposed PWC Use at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (MI)

Forest Service Announces EIS for Dean Project Area in Black Hills National Forest (WY)

The Forest Service has announced its plans to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Dean Project Area of the Black Hills National Forest (Wyoming). The EIS will evaluate the need for changing the resource management plan, including OHV recreation in the project area.
