|  My first electric coat arrived
My Gerbings electric coat arrived today, and I'm quite impressed. Kind of wish I was able to get it a size bigger, but the XL I got will work quite well (just don't get any fatter). Time to go home and play with the battery on my bike and see if I can put this together. Seems like it's idiot proof, but I'll be the judge of that! Next, I'll have to get a switch and some sort of extension cord. The plug comes out on the bottom of the coat on the left side, midway between the belt buckle and left pocket. I've got a tank bag that I'd like to keep if possible so I need to find an alternate location to put the switch and extension cord so it's still useable, but out of the way. I'm thinking maybe on the side of the gas tank right below the badge. Any thoughts on this location? Any ideas for a different location? Do they even make extension cords for these things? |
