Default "That stunt you pulled back there", or "How much do I owe?"

This f#$cking backward country!

There. Got that out of my system.

I got zinged this morning for "improper lane change". That's the trooper's idea of doing me a favor. It could've been "reckless". For the record, I did thank him, right before I told him what I thought of this country's protectionist mentality. They just can't put down the drill sergeant tone, can they?

I often split lanes, but carefully and only while traffic is stopped. This morning, I made two mistakes. First, I didn't notice that there was no traffic in line to turn left, making the red light that much shorter. Second, one of those damned unmarked Impalas was sitting at the front of the pack. Recipe for disaster.

Time to move to The Republik of Kalifornia, where it's a little easier to be free. Unless you have the bad fortune to be born gay.
