Man,,, what is this snow they speak of?

Well I will be breaking out the NASA Fieldshear suit this weekend. Have a Veteran's Ride on Saturday with lows in the 30's. Of course we are heading south to Vienna Saturday around lunchtime. Hope to find the 60's there

It warmed up to mid 40's for the ride home, but it was raining so it felt colder.

Hey Clint I know the over pants are about 1/3 more to buy, but for me the extra money is worth the convenience, those things go on & off in seconds, pack up pretty small, and are waterproof to boot.

I just hope it gets cold enough to stop raining soon. I ripped the back out of my $3 rain jacket today. All I have left are my turquoise Playtex dishwashing gloves to keep me dry.

he has a bike like that, and can't afford a decent raincoat?

even I have a decent raincoat, and my bike is easily worth more in parts than as a whole.

heck, it goes up in value every time I gas up.

Heat wave today, 38* and no rain.

Clint you need to wear that rain gear on the inside so the wind don't get to it.

It was in the 40's this morning. Dug out the Fieldsheer space suit for this weekend.

Feel bad for "J".. she won't ride behind me and will be out in the wind without protective gear. Guess she will be putting on the layers.

I am just picturing little Ralph's brother with the snow suit on from the Christmas Story,,LOL!!!

Went on a group ride last weekend, left the house when it was 33 degrees. Had so many layers on and a thing around my neck it was hard to turn my head for lane changes. Little Ralph's brother isn't too far from where I was.

I'm sure you're just being funny, but

1) The bike is worth about $3 grand. It was only $7 grand new. Not exactly big money.
2) I had a better paycheck and zero kids in 2002.

Aww she rides her own. She said it is more fun and I guess after watching the Ultra Classic damage I did in San Diego two years ago she probably figures she is better off.

Looking at my past track record with vehicles....whether it was my fault or not.... I guess I can't balme her. I always said if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all.
1. totalled my go-cart
2. destroyed the engine on my Yamaha Enduro by dropping it off a bridge into the creek below.
3. Busted the front suspension on my 1st '67 Mustang.
4. Rear ended my Mom's car with my Dad's truck
5. My '73 Maverick Grabber got totalled by my brother
6. Totalled a NAPA delivery truck
7. Pushed a new Toyota truck's rear bumper halfway up the bed with an '07 Dodge Ram 3500
8. Got the front end knocked off the same Dodge Ram 3500 by a Volkswagon Jetta
9. Got the same Dodge Ram totalled on the interstate in a head on collision with a Olds Cutlass supreme that crossed the medium
10. Had my '78 Indy Pace Car Vette drop off a lift in the tire shop
11. Flipped a '97 Chevy Camaro at 125 mph
12. Numerous times falling off the old Suzuki Motorcross DR bike I had
13. Got ran off the road on the Intruder
14. Brand new '09 Vette with 700 miles on it got hit in the parking lot
15. Highsided the '08 Ultra Classic in San Diego on our Honeymoon

Hmmm... I know there is more but just keep forgetting them all.

Lol, after all those bumps on the head forgetting things should come easy.

Hey Clint, your still doing better than some, Jason (my son) hasn't been able to cash his paychecks for 8 weeks now due to lack of funds in his employers account.

Yeah no kidding right?

We all need to get together again. Sometime in the next year or so maybe we can put on another Gatlinburg, Deal's Gap ride or meet up somewhere else.

Would like to see everyone again. That last trip you guys rode out to where it rained all the next day was too short of a trip. But it was good seeing you all and meeting the newer guys I haven't met before.
