I know maybe I should. How about you guys get together and plan an event somewhere or we meet in the middle somewhere next fall?

Early summer we are going to San Diego so will have to recover from that financially first.

Haven't heard from Chris hardly any since that trip. I think he was laid off and I cannot get in touch with him either.

Hmmm.... now you got me thinking. I could earn my Iron Butt in the process!!!

Speaking of money, I saw something tonight you might be interested in, I was in Bobs Cycle and happened to see an ad on the bulletin board that caught my eye, a 08 ZX-10 with 2,008 miles on it for $4500, I guess the owner lost his job & needs to dump the bike.

I didn't write down the number, but if your interested I can go back tomorrow and get it.

Your the one that's good at planing things, and no matter what Clint says half the fun of one of these get togethers IS the riding halfway across the country.

I hear there are some great roads in Arkansas, or maybe a bunch of us could sign up for a Route 66 trip.

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe late Summer or early fall we could go do a meet up in Arkansas. They have some great campsites there that are motorcycle geared I hear.

Will keep that on the burner for a possible trip on down the road.

thanks rick.. but sadly this is now the wrong time for me to look. 2 months later or 2 months earlier and I'd jump on that like clint on a free beer.

I could do that and maybe tie in a few of our more active riders that actually have rode there before.

Definitely will put it on the back burner for later on this upcoming year!!!

A friend of mine just got back from there, said it was great, I'm sure he would go back again, and he has GPS tracks.

Maybe we should start a 2010 MJ ride thread.

crap, that sounds cheap - the bike was something like 12 k new, wasn't it?

Sounds a lot like the common Craigslist scams. Use caution.
