Default Dragon Tail mishap

Well, the BIL went down last night while driving the Tail. Some F***ER going too hot into one of those curves, riding a..... anyone want to venture a guess? ....... yup, a crotch rocket. Low sided his rocket into oncoming traffic which was Chris, gingerly riding his 1800 VTX.

Damage to his *brand new*: faring, highway bars, engine guards, pipes -- all scratches (not to mention his brand new paint job on the bike). Busted the engine block, so it can't keep oil.

He was able to keep the bike upright and keep himself on the bike, which it should have shimmied all the way across the pavement, and he should have as well. Only damage to him, thank goodness (because he doesn't wear full gear), were the two scratches on his leg. The pants didn't even rip open. I don't know the damage to the other guy, but I imagine he's fine considering Chris and him exchanged insurance info.

Could have been much worse, for sure! But I'm glad it was minimal damage.

Be safe people!!
