Default Never trust a weather man!

So I decided to go for a nice Saturday afternoon ride today, clear blue skys, no rain forcast, sweet! I live on the foothills of the Rockies so there are a ton of good rides near me. Today I went to Estes park, wearing only T-shirt, jeans, and some sunglasses (yeah yeah i know). I get to the top and out of no where it starts to lightly rain, ok I can handle that. I decided to head back though since I didnt wanna get caught in the rain, its about an hour ride home.

I get all the way down the mountain and i'm about 20min from home... out of no where... the earth opens up and it starts to hail. When i mean hail, I dont mean slush or pebbles, I'm talking quarters! So now I'm driving 55mph, in the hail, with no helmet and only a T-shirt.

Wish I had a camera to show you the giant welts I have all over my body haha, looks like I went paintballing without a mask. Quarter size welts all over my body.

Long story short, don't trust the weather man, and wearing some gear probably isn't a bad idea either! Boy do I need some bags!
