Hi all, i have just brought a crashed 89 gsxr1100, the iggy pickup cover has been smashed off, oil pessure sender damaged, its a bit of a gamble as the oil is all gone and i'm not sure if there is crap in motor? anyway the immediate concern is i can only find one pickup! is that right i would have thought one for cylinders 1&4 and one for 2&3 but can find no trace of the 2&3 pickup or wiring althou there is a place on the backing plate for it. This is meant to be my new post classic racer as a class has been created which runs to dec 89. I have been raceing an h2 750 kawasaki for a few years and its time for something more modern and hopefully more reliable. also are there any easy fixes for the reported handling problems this model has. Thanks for any help |
