Your well wishes are all noted and appreciated, but I’m sorry to say that so far they haven’t been enough, he has slipped to the point that they now have him listed as “critical” and they have him in ICU with him on a ventilator to help him breath.

Don’t give up hope yet, the doctors still say he has a good chance for a full recovery, but his ribs busted up his lung so bad that he wasn’t able to take deep enough breaths on his own because of the pain, so they basically put him in a coma so they could medicate enough to ease the pain.

Good thoughts people ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, nothing but good thoughts.

Rick, I'm sorry you are having to go through such an ordeal as this. There is no way any of us can say we know exactly what you guys are going through, but we can and will be here for you if you need us. You and your brother are in my thoughts and prayers.

Well I'm a little reluctunt to be saying this yet, because the last time I told everyone that he was going to recover it all started going down hill for him, but as of tonight they have him off the ventilator, his internal bleeding has slowed down, and they have his pain under control.

The doctor said that if he continues to be stable through the night they will transfer him out of ICU in the morning.

I got to talk to him for about an hour tonight and his spirits are good and he's no longer feeling like he's right on deaths door, so I think we have turned the corner and he's back on track to rejoin the living.

Thank you all for all the good thoughts & prayers, I told him how many people that he has never met were pulling for him to recover, and he told me to tell you thank you from him too, it really means a lot when you are in the position he's been in.

Hey, Rick. Sorry to hear about another brother down, especially since he is actually your brother.

Our thoughts, prayers, and hopes are on him for a healthy recovery as well as on you and your family to help him pull through this.

Have you told him we're going to kick his ass for being so stupid, right after he gets better?

Tell him to hurry up and get out of the hospital so you can put him right back there again!

That's funny, Clint.
