Default My 19 y.o. Son passed BRC

My #2 twin took the course this last weekend and had a blast and passed at the top of the class. The fist day of riding he sent text messages of his progress and that of his peers. He told us of a gal that must have over-revved the throttle and then popped the clutch and after a wild ride and unplanned wheelie she dropped the bike and went over the bars. My son said the coaches called the paramedics and checked her out and she had a scrape on her chin was about all that happened It could have been much worse. He said that had she worn a full face helmet she wouldn't have got the scrape.

He said another student dropped her bike twice and the coaches released her to try another day and one couldn't figure out the clutch/throttle coordination so that person bowed out on their own.

Tuesday he goes to the DMV to get the endorsement and then I will be asked if he can borrow the Boulevard to which I will say. Yes! but with limits. He needs to build experience and confidence. We have a scooter and a Dualsport that he can get time on once I get the carbs cleaned out. (my fault)

I am one proud pappa
