Default Message from Ray, injured biker

I just talked to Ray on the phone, and I told him that a bunch of folks on a board he never head of were pulling for him. He told me to tell you, "I can feel the good will and the prayers. Thank you. Don't worry, I'll be fine"

He has a long road ahead of him: three more weeks in the hospital, several more operations to clean up his stump and reconstruct his arm, and six or seven months before he can learn to walk with an artificial leg. So please continue to pray for him, and his wife Tammy, who has not left his side.

I will speak to the Big Man tonight, to let him know to watch out for him. Its a shame when bad things happen to good people.

I need some background info. Where is the original thread? This story sounds just like the one I posted in the sticky thread. They're not the same, are they? Different names, of course, but the same injuries.

RowdyRed94,
What I know of the accident is what I read on Intruder Alert. Little Ray was side swiped by a car that crossed over into his lane. They thought they were going to be able to save his leg, but the injury was too severe and infection set in.

Intruder Alert has a pinned post for undates from people that go to see him in the hospital as well as the original about the accident.

DrBob - please let Ray know he's on another prayer list in Alabama, too.

Doooooood . . . I sure hope He doesn't disown you when the time comes!

We got here somehow. I don't think any one religion has actually hit the nail on the head, but I know we're not here by accident.

Get well soon, Ray.

Just saw this. Add one from PA to the list of those praying.
Truly sorry to hear about Ray. It makes me angry, sad, frustrated and almost helpless. Will I quit riding? No. But I have 2 kids too ........
