I thought the little Ninja was cool, but she didn't like it at all.
A 250cc bike has enough power for 60-65mph cruising, but that would be the limit of its comfortable range.

Thanks. I got a deal I just couldn't pass up. '07 with only 1,100 miles. Clean as a pin; they had a gem and knew it. No room for price dickering, although I tried.

I wanted to sit on an S50 just for grins but they had sold the only one they had (Imagine that).

I think it has a clean look, not BLOATED like the M50.................running for cover........

Yes they do......unless you have a head wind.......or are going uphill..........

No, really, they will maintain that most of the time. I liked my GZ just fine. Perfect for zipping around town and country 2-lane highways.

My wife is 5'2, we picked her up an S50. It fits her like a glove, with here boots on she can flat foot it. We tested everything we could find and they were either too tall or too wide. The S50 was perfect.

All you have to do is lower the rear of the bike and she will be able to handle it much easier. My wife is only 4'9" with a 24 inch inseam and she can handle her vstar 650 custom with ease and we have done several 1200 mile trips. we lowered hers 4"s and it makes all the difference in the world. I lowered my c50 2" and it helped me alot. here is a link to a fitment chart wife is the very first one on the 650s

I always said if you can get a bike for your wife, you're a better trader than I am.

I think we are gonna hit the Zuk shop first. Several models to look at, then Honda is right next door.

for us the choice was between the s50 and the 883low from HD...thankfully Lisa has a hate on for HD that rivals anybody i've ever met. I can't speak to the honda, but my wife didn't like it at all. All three make for a great ladies bike

My wife has the S40 and loves it. Nimble and easy to maneuver, especially at a standstill. My wife is 5'4", and can handle the weight no problem. She is very confident on the bike, and look great riding. As for power, she keeps up with me on the highway no problem (60-65). It'll never have the power a Vtwin has, but that's not what she was shopping for in the first place. It's her bike not mine. There is another forum that has a lot of info on the S40 and shows some of the wild things people have done to them. Nice bike.
