It finally warmed up a bit (so I thought) so that I could ride again. Yes, the weather bends to my desires, its just a coincident the weather man gets it right at times. Anyway, it was 43 F out and I took off to work. About have way there my hands are getting numb from the cold. My torso was fine because I had on a shirt, pull over, and a heavy coat. My legs and hands weren't so lucky. I had to pull over and put my hands under my underarms to warm them back up. However, the ride home was in the sixties and really nice. I woke up the next morning and felt like I had been kicked in the baby maker. I guess I need to "train" in the off season for riding. Any way, everyone go for a ride and enjoy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also, I noticed what sounded like a bearing scrubbing. The faster I went the faster it repeated. I had my bike serviced before putting it up for the winter and it did sit outside the entire time. ( I just got a carport built last week) Any ideas of what I should look at besides the front wheel? Is there anything I should have done prior to putting it "away" for the winter? Thanks all. |
