|  My Son's first ride today!
Well today was kind of a special day. I took my 10yr old boy out on his first motorcycle ride. I've waited this long because I wanted him to be physically big enough to set comfortably behind me. I bought his helmet about 1 month ago and today it was sunny & 60degree's so I figured it was time to try it out. It's one thing to ride by yourself all the time & it's another when your child is riding with you. Riding Safely & defensively becomes your only concern as a parent. My goal today was to have fun & safe ride together and we did. He did great & loved it! We rode about 85miles total. We got lunch at The Whistle Stop Cafe in Juliette (same cafe as in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes"). Great Food! Then we rode through the National Forest before looping back for home. Now I need to get him a real riding jacket with protection next.
