Can anyone tell me what happened to 98Corona? - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Hello, we are new to this site but have always had a gsxr and we have just bought a salvage 98 corona 750 that looks just like the one that one of your members had pictured 98corona) . Does anyone know what happen to him , did he sell his bike, wreck it or something. We bought it from a maryland insurance auction , and Maryland is where he said in his posts he is from. Any info would be great....... we see he hasent posted in a few months.

Click "memberlist" at the top of the screen, scroll down and order the entries by username. He's on page 3 or so.

Being in the Army, he may be deployed. No e-mail listed, but you can try to PM him.

A crafty PI would sort through 98corona's posts and try to piece togehter a story.

well, we did just that and he had posted some pictures that were supposed to be pretty gory but they are no longer opening, so we cantpiece together but so much, maybe someone on here knows what the pictures where of ?

I think they were pictures of his bike (a 98 Corona). It was slightly wrecked, but then he drove it without realizing the oil pump had seized up. If I remember correctly, he said the whole block was toast, and he was going to try and get the insurance company to pawn it off on some sucker at an auction.
