Ok, I know that my posts on the forums have been opionated. And I am a Harley guy. They are my first street bike of choice. But today the wife was feeling bad and wanted to rest. I decided to go to some bike shops. Other than my local Harley shop. My first stop was the local Suzuki shop. I wanted to look at some off road machines. But of course I had to look all the bikes. And I stumbled across the M109R. They had two, a silver/gray color, and a burnt orange one. OOOOHHHH! all I can say is if I had the money it would be here at the house. 1800cc, gotta be to turn that fat a$$ rear tire. I love the overall look of that machine! Does anyone here own one? I was wondering what it was like to ride it. Also looked at the VSTORM also, love that one too. Then I went to the local Honda shop. I guess the VTX 1800 is the Honda equivilant to the M109. I my humble opinion the M109 has it beat by just looking at style. But I also looked at the new Honda 450 dirt bikes. The rockets as one poster called it. At 6' 4" and over 300 pounds it looks like I would have a problem or two with comfort and handling. But the street/trail combos looked like they would work ok for my size. But I will go to bed tonight with thoughts of screaming down a long open highway on that M109, and then catching a few twistys for good measure. I REALLY like that bike! Hoop |
