|  I Rode A Rocket  While this may look like an ordinary MX bike I can tell you this unless the blue, yellow, and green manufacturers do something quick all forms of racing that use the DTX bikes will turn into a sea of red. This is the ’09 CRF 450R and while the Hondas have always been fast this thing is a friggin’ rocket. Sporting the new fuel injection system the response to the throttle is unbelievable. Some of the riders from Kansas brought one with them to the races this last weekend and they let me ride it as well as an ’07 setup as a Flat Tracker with many performance mods. The difference was amazing the bone stock 09 is scary fast and has an amazing amount of torque. I short shifted from 3rd into 4th and when I stood on the throttle the dang thing nearly came over on top of me. Man this thing is a blast.  |
